Tegan Hamilton Blown Away

Tegan Hamilton is an Australian glass artist currently working in Melbourne. She has been creating lifelike hot sculpted and blown glass sculptures since 2004 and completed her Masters of Fine Arts in 2011. Tegan’s interest in art and science, and how they interrelate is evident in her museum inspired displays. An active member of the Australian and Seattle glass arenas, she recently moved back to Australia after years working and developing her skills within the highly recognised Seattle glassblowing community. Tegan has exhibited in solo and group shows throughout Australia and internationally including the Talente exhibi- tion in Germany in 2011. She has been featured in Craft Arts International and shortlisted for the Western Australian Art Gallery’s Tom Malone prize, Ranamok Glass prize, Deakin Contemporary Small Sculpture Prize and The Waterhouse Natural History Prize at the Mu- seum of South Australia.
